Canada Day Parade
The South River Canada Day Parade has been announced for July 1st, 2023 at 1:00PM.
The Parade will begin at the South River Historic Train Station at 1:00 PM and Travel east along Ottawa Avenue ending at the west pedestrian entrance to Tom Thomson Park.
Following arrival are these fun events!;
- 1:30 PM: Parade arrives at the park followed by a performance by Callander Pipes and Drums.
- 2:00 PM: The Official Opening of the Canada Day Events
- 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Live Entertainment (Jaycee King band & James Vanmere), BBQ, Beer Tent, Face Painting, Pie eating Contest and a variety of Vendors.
Also try your hand at Disc Golf with the Algonquin Disc Golf Club while in the Park and more!
