  • Accumulation of snow and ice pellets (5 to 15 cm possible)

  • Potential utility outages

  • Hazardous conditions due to icy surfaces and falling tree limbs

When:
Late Friday through Monday

Additional Information:
Environment Canada reports increasing confidence in a widespread and prolonged freezing rain event across portions of southern and northeastern Ontario. Areas of greatest concern extend from Sault Ste. Marie southeast through Parry Sound to Kingston. A temporary break in the freezing rain is anticipated late Saturday before a second round begins.
