The Village of South River is pleased to learn from Mayor Carleton’s letter of September 29th that the current Council of the Township of Machar intends to pay their share of the costs for the shared services of Arena and Fire 2021 and 2022.
As stated in the letter we look forward to receiving payment, the signed copy of the Village’s 2019 Proposed Agreement as amended by Machar, and a proposed meeting date.
The Township of Machar’s letter of September 29, 2022 and the 2019 Agreement with their amendment will be an Agenda Item for the South River Council meeting on October 11, 2022. The letter and agreement are available in the links below.
The Village looks forward to continuing with Machar to provide the ratepayers with the very best of Fire and Arena services.
